About Me

Hi, I’m Ashley Melendez!

I am a soprano voice. I’m originally from Las Vegas, but I live in Reno, NV.  I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Nevada, Reno, where I sang in the University Chamber and Symphonic Choirs and the Nevada Chamber Opera as a chorister and soloist.

In my current profession, I work at the University as the Administrative Assistant of the Economics Department and the Ozmen Center for Entrepreneurship. I perform locally in the Reno-Sparks area and I love to sing. I have been singing my whole life and it’s my favorite thing to do!

I am a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, International Music Fraternity (ΣΑI) and I serve as President in the Reno Alumnae Chapter. Love and Roses!

I graduated with my MBA with Music Business as my emphasis. My plan after graduation is to open up a non-profit music studio program, where students can have private lessons at an affordable rate and flourish their love of music and have it be a part of their life in a way that’s most meaningful to them.
